For the first time in the history of NASDEA the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) has become a member of NASDEA. A delegation attended the 2022 Spring NASDEA conference held in Wilmington, North Carolina and hosted by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI). The delegation was led by VIPD Commissioner Ray A. Martinez who was able to provide an invaluable presentation on the current trends related to drug trafficking through the Virgin Islands onto the mainland United States. NASDEA has already benefited from VIPD’s membership and looks forward to the additional network they will provide to member agencies across the country. Welcome aboard VIPD!
